Trust God for Today's Need

Today is the first day of the rest of your life,

Only what's done for the Lord will last.

The cares and pain of yesterday's sorrows

Will all be forgotten - They will soon be tomorrow's.

We only have a promise for our daily food

So why be depressed and in a bad mood?

If God clothed the sparrows and birds in the air,

Why do we worry about what outfit to wear?

Just take each day one day at a time,

Then you can really find true peace of mind.

Because only the Lord Jesus can carry you through.

In the valleys or mountaintops He faithful and true.

Ability will enable a man to go to the top,

but it takes character to keep him there.

Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

Philippians 4:6
