Father, You are Wonderful

God, You are high above the mountains

and the valleys below.

There when flowers are blooming

and when the ground is covered with snow.

You are with me when I walk in victory

and when I'm feeling the agony of defeat.

Always making intercession on my behalf

Until my life on earth is complete.

Your presence is ever before me

When I'm sleeping or when I'm awake.

Your blessings are new every morning

And I'm refreshed with each breath that I take.

Life can only be understood by looking backward

but it must be lived by looking forward.

Every day [with its new reasons] will I bless You [affectionately and gratefully praise You]: yes, I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord and highly to be praised; and his greatness is [so vast and deep as to be] unsearchable. Psalm 145:2,3
